Johan Rockberg
Johan Rockberg is Professor of Molecular Biotechnology and Directed Evolution at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focus on sustainable production and development of advanced medication, such as gene therapy and biological drugs. Johan was in charge of The Young Academy of Sweden’s (SUA) response to the Swedish Government’s upcoming research and innovation bill. In 2023 he also represented SUA in the Reference Group for the National Library of Sweden’s task of developing National Guidelines for Open Science.
Gustaf Nelhans
Dr. Gustaf Nelhans is an associate professor at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS) at the University of Borås. His research primarily focuses on the performativity of scientometric indicators. He specialises in investigating the theoretical, methodological, and research policy dimensions of scholarly publishing within the framework of scientific practice, all from the vantage point of Science and Technology Studies (STS). He is interim chair of SUHF's working group for bibliometrics and an appointed board member of the National Library of Sweden’s Advisory Council. Most recently, he was appointed as a Reference Group member for the National Library of Sweden’s task of developing national guidelines for open science 2023-24.
Simon Thomson, Clarivate
Dr. Simon Thomson is the Senior Manager of Consulting for the UK and Europe. He has over a decade of experience leading research evaluations, policy analyses, and bibliometric studies for public and private sector agencies globally. His work includes research assessments and research landscape studies for governments and research institutions worldwide, including the Research Council of Norway, UK Research Councils, the Innovative Health Initiative, the Indian Department of Science and Technology, and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. Simon also led Clarivate’s provision of citation data for the UK Research Excellence Framework 2021. He holds a PhD in Structural Biology from the University of Sheffield and is currently studying for an MSc in Public Policy and Management at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Fredrik Åström works as bibliometrics specialist at Lund University Library. Åström is associate professor in information studies; and has done research in scholarly communication in general, with a particular focus on bibliometrics, as well as on the use of bibliometric indicators in research evaluation systems and practices.
